The autumn season has started strongly at Blue Ocean. So far this year, we have sold 88 boats – 49 sailing yachts and 39 motorboats. In our August market update, the corresponding figure was 73, demonstrating that sales activity has remained strong throughout early autumn.
New Investments in the Visibility of Our Boats
We have introduced a new international sales platform, Boat24.com, which has already generated a significant number of new enquiries. This platform complements our existing sales channels, as well as our international network of yacht brokers and partners, helping us reach potential buyers across Europe.
Keeping Our Sales Listings Active and Up to Date
When a boat has been on the market for several months, it is important to regularly review both the sales listing and the asking price. Updating the photographs, sales description or price can help improve the boat's visibility in search results and across various sales platforms.
Blue Ocean's Website Has Been Upgraded
Blue Ocean's website has also undergone a major technical upgrade, with improvements particularly noticeable in the site's performance and technical functionality.
At the same time, we have increased our investment in Google advertising, search engine visibility and website analytics. With more advanced analytics, we can better understand where potential buyers come from, what they are looking for and which marketing channels generate the most relevant enquiries.
Our international sales platforms, Blue Ocean's website, Google marketing and international brokerage network together form a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the sale of every boat in our brokerage portfolio.
Sales Remain Active Throughout the Autumn
Although the boating season in the Nordic countries is drawing to a close, the international boat market remains active all year round. We continuously monitor enquiries, market conditions and price levels, adjusting our sales strategy as needed throughout the autumn and winter months.
