The Grand Soleil 46 BC is a stylish and performance-oriented cruising yacht built by the renowned Italian shipyard Cantiere del Pardo. Designed by Botin & Carkeek, the model combines excellent sailing performance with high-quality construction, elegant Italian design and comfortable accommodation for longer cruising. The Grand Soleil 46 was awarded European Yacht of the Year 2010.\n\nThis 2011 Grand Soleil 46 BC is comprehensively equipped for both performance sailing and comfortable cruising. In 2016, the yacht was upgraded with a Hall Spars carbon mast, while the sail inventory includes North Sails laminated Spectra mainsail and genoa, as well as a gennaker and storm jib. Harken deck equipment, an electric halyard winch, hydraulic backstay adjuster and adjustable genoa tracks complement the yacht's performance-oriented setup.\n\nThe yacht is powered by a Volvo Penta D2-55 diesel engine with Saildrive and a three-bladed Autoprop \/ Bruntons folding propeller. Manoeuvring in harbour is made easier by a retractable Max Power VIP 150 Duo bow thruster.\n\nThe navigation equipment is comprehensive and based around Raymarine electronics, including two A125 chartplotters, Quantum radar, AIS, autopilot and four i70 instrument displays.\nBelow deck, the distinctly Italian interior combines elegant design with a practical three-cabin, two-head layout.
