As I write this, the Vene 25 Båt Boat Show is drawing to a close. We can already say that the event has been a success. Visitor numbers are expected to increase by around 20%, and the overall mood has clearly been more positive than in previous years. There have been plenty of visitors seriously considering a purchase, and during the show we added around 20 more boats to our brokerage portfolio. We now have approximately 120 boats for sale – the highest number in Blue Ocean’s history.
In 2024, we brokered a total of 67 boats, 46 of which were sailing boats. A significant number were sold abroad, particularly to Germany.
2025 has also got off to a strong start. We have already sold almost 10 boats, and notably, as many as half of them are heading to Sweden this spring.
Demand remains strong, and we are particularly pleased to see that this also applies to motorboats after several quieter years.
Encouraged by the success of the boat show, we believe that more boats will be sold through Blue Ocean this year than in previous years.
In addition to our strong selection of boats, falling interest rates and pent-up demand are contributing to this positive outlook.
Finland will also continue to attract many international buyers looking to purchase a boat.
